(1) Preface - Rajiv Gandhi was the sixth Prime
Minister of India. He was born in a patriotic family. He had inherited
patriotism. He was the king of young hearts.
(2) Biography - Rajiv Gandhi was born on August 20, 1944 in
Bombay (Mumbai). Sitting on the head of Nana Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, playing
him as a horse, he got the education of politics from his childhood. He was a
worthy child of a great father like Feroze Gandhi. Priyadarshini mother Indira
Gandhi held her finger and brought it to life. His early education took place
in Delhi. After this he got education in Dehradun. He went to England for
higher education. You received training to fly an airplane. You wanted to
become a pilot. So got a job as a pilot in an airplane company. You married
'Sonia', a resident of Italy. Your two children Priyanka and Rahul
(3) Political life After the death of Indira Gandhi in 1984, the Congress unanimously elected her as its leader and was made the Prime Minister. As soon as he became the Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi spread the message to the nation, "She was not only my mother, she was the mother of all of us, Indira Gandhi with violence, hatred and malice letters will hurt Gandhi's soul. You keep calm and be patient."
The crying and crying citizens stopped in tears. On one side the body of Indira was lying and on the other hand Rajiv was busy in the service of the nation holding tears. • Such was the effect on the person of Rajiv Gandhi that the storm of hatred stopped. He did a miraculous job by boldly and peacefully solving the formidable problem of Punjab which took Indiraji's life. He devoted his life to the removal of evils like high and low, corruption, bribery, treason, poverty, backwardness, unemployment, dowry system, atrocities on women in India. Rajiv Gandhi introduced the 64th Panchayati Raj Constitution Amendment Bill in Parliament on May 15, 1989, with the aim of eliminating power brokers and middlemen between the people and the government.
Rajiv Gandhi started a comprehensive scheme in 1988 for educated unemployment. When Rajiv Gandhi, a great worshiper of democracy, eager to take the country into the 21st century, while promoting and spreading his policies in every corner of the country, the country's misfortune started to laugh. On May 19, 1999, the country's misfortune woke up and it once again changed its course. In the Perambur district of Madras, people thronged for darshan. Misfortune made the last ruckus and a suicidal woman came near to touch and garland the feet of Rajiv Gandhi. He pressed the button on his belt and the bomb strapped to his waist detonated. Due to this the rags of Rajiv Gandhi's body flew in the sky and collapsed. Within a few moments the news of this heart breaking incident spread all over the world. The country was stunned once again. Rajiv Gandhi's body was brought to Delhi by an army plane. People gathered for the last glimpse of their leader. The body of Rajiv was kept in the Teenmurti Bhawan for the last darshan. Rajiv Gandhi was given a final farewell with state honours. Arghya with tears and flowers with trembling hands Paying tribute, the huge crowd paid their last respects to their leader.
(4) Epilogue - The date of May 21, 1991 will be remembered as
Darkness Day in India. On May 24, 1991, at 5.25 pm, his son Rahul lit his
funeral pyre. Luck is very influential, what he can't do.
