(1) Introduction Since ancient times, many scholars have
illuminated Devbhoomi India with their characteristic light, one of them, Mrs.
Indira Gandhi's name is taken with respect. He ruled India's vast democracy
uninterruptedly for sixteen years. She is also called by the name 'Priyadarshini'.
(2) Biography Mrs. Indira Gandhi was born on November 19,
1917 in Allahabad. At the time of birth, Mrs. Sarojini Naidu had sent a
telegram saying, "She is the new soul of India. Her father Pandit
Jawaharlal Nehru and mother Mrs Kamala Nehru." Grandfather Motilal Nehru
was a famous and reputed lawyer. Indira Priyadarshini's early education took
place in Switzerland. After that she came to Shantiniketan for her studies.
After Shantiniketan she was educated at Summerville College, Oxford. Indira
Gandhi's personality developed in a special way, she married Feroze Gandhi, a
Parsi youth, in 1942, abandoning Indian traditions.
(3) Political life- Indira Gandhi started taking interest in
political activities since childhood. He showed his patriotism and political
skill by organizing 'Vanar Sena' in his childhood to free india in this, she
continued to support her father Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru by staying with her. In
1955, he was included in the Working Committee of the Congress and four years
later in 1959, he was unanimously elected President of the Indian National
Congress. As Congress President, Indiraji toured the entire country and mainly
instilled new enthusiasm and consciousness among the youth and achieved
unprecedented success in the Kerala elections. In 1962, when China
treacherously invaded India, she was the first Indian woman who offered all her
ancestral gold ornaments on the country's altar on the call of the country's
captains to donate gold. At the time of the Chinese invasion, he took over the
presidency of the Central Civil Council. The functions of this council were to
organize public cooperation to drive out the invading China from the land of
India, to mobilize all kinds of goods and facilities for the soldiers, to get
full cooperation of all political parties etc. In 1965, when Pakistan invaded
India, Indiraji had united her day and night in the service of the nation. She
went to the last front of the war to encourage and console the Indian brave
soldiers.
Indira Gandhi worked hard in the 1967 general elections, as
a result of which the Congress got a clear majority at the center and Mrs.
Indiraji was elected unopposed as the leader of the parliamentary party. He led
the country by assuming the post of Prime Minister. A bold and progressive
personality like Indiraji emerged on the political theater of the country. His
magic leadership became an attraction for world politicians. The unprecedented
victory of the Congress in the ten provinces of India in 1972 was the result of
his leadership. After 1971, India's great victory in the Indo-Pakistani War as
well as dominating world politics and the new creation and defense of
Bangladesh made the glorious saga of Mrs. Indira Gandhi historic. The Allahabad
High Court gave an important decision in which the 1971 election of Smt. Indira
Gandhi was declared invalid. Within a week of this announcement, the President
declared a state of emergency in the country. Mrs. Gandhi presented a 20-point
program for the welfare of the people and implemented it. On 7 November 1975,
the Supreme Court declared the 1971 election of Mrs Gandhi valid. Bigotry makes

Since then Indira ji was going from Safdarjung to her office
on Akbar Road on foot. At the same time three pious soldiers who were hiding in
